1. Click this link to launch the Product Announcement template:
     
  2. Enter a title for the product announcement.
  3. Enter the text of the product announcement.
  4. Click Save.

Do not remove the Page to Blog macro that is part of the template and is loaded into the new page when it is created. When you save the new announcement, this macro will convert the page to a blog post, and add it to the list of Product Announcements on this page.

If you do accidentally remove the macro and save the page, it will be added as a child under Product Announcements, instead of a blog post listed on this page. In that case, view the page, and in the ... menu in the upper right corner, select Convert Page to Blog. The page will be converted to a blog post, with the creation date of the page used as as the publication date of the blog post.



  1. Edit _sauce_connect_download to point to the latest release version and SHA keys.
  2. Create a Sauce Connect Proxy Change Log for the release. 
  3. Click this link to create the Product Announcement for Sauce Connect Proxy:
  4. Enter the version number for the release in the title, and in the first sentence.
  5. Click the Include Page macro below the template text, and select Edit.
  6. For Page to Include, enter the title of the Sauce Connect Proxy Change log you created in step 2, for example Sauce Connect Proxy Version 4.3.1.
  7. Save the change to the macro.
  8. Save the page.
    The download links and change log information should automatically populate into the product announcement, and it should be added to the list below.
