Hi Sauce user,
Due to very low usage, Sauce Labs has ended support for Windows XP and Mac OS 10.8 per our announcement on June 29th. With the elimination of these platforms, users will no longer be able to run automated or manual tests on the following browsers -
Internet Explorer 6, Internet Explorer 7 (Including all minor versions)
Internet Explorer 8.0.6001
Safari 5 and 6
All versions of Opera browser
IE 8.0.7601 will continue to be supported through the Windows 7 platform. Platform Configurator will be updated shortly to reflect these changes.
Ending support for old platforms allows us to accelerate the introduction of new platforms and features.
Action items :
Please review your tests to ensure they are moved to newer platforms ASAP. Please check out Platform configurator for the desired capabilities and specify a platform version when running tests.
Here are a few examples -
DesiredCapabilities caps = DesiredCapabilities.edge();
caps.setCapability("platform", "Windows 10");
DesiredCapabilities caps = DesiredCapabilities.safari();
caps.setCapability("platform", "macOS 10.12");
Thanks and happy testing!
The Sauce Labs Team.
