Sauce Labs is happy to announce that we now support MacOS Catalina (10.15), as we continue to provide our users with the best coverage for testing applications.

Here is an example of the desired capabilities in Java using Selenium and W3C:

Chrome latest on MacOS Catalina (10.15)
MutableCapabilities sauceOptions = new MutableCapabilities();

ChromeOptions browserOptions = new ChromeOptions();
browserOptions.setExperimentalOption("w3c", true);
browserOptions.setCapability("platformName", "macOS 10.15");
browserOptions.setCapability("browserVersion", "latest");

Our Platform Configurator has also been updated to reflect this newest version.

Dear Sauce User,

As we continue our mission to provide our users with the best coverage for testing applications, we are happy to announce that Sauce Labs now supports Android 10 Google API Emulators. This update is supported on Appium 1.16.0.

The list of the devices supported are: 

  • Google Pixel 3 GoogleAPI Emulator

  • Google Pixel 3 XL GoogleAPI Emulator

  • Google Pixel 3a GoogleAPI Emulator

  • Google Pixel 3a XL GoogleAPI Emulator


This release of Android 10 also contains version 19.2.75 of google play services and version 74.0.3729.185 of Chrome. 

Our Platform Configurator has also been updated to reflect this newest version.
