Return to the Product Announcements and Release Notes Blog

Hello Sauce user!

We are happy to announce that Sauce Labs now supports Chrome 77 on both Mac OS and Windows operating systems. Our Platform Configurator has also been updated to reflect this newest version.

Spice it up a little with the desired capabilities in Node.js, as an example:

var capabilities = {
    "browserName": 'chrome',
    "browserVersion": '77.0',
    "platformName": 'Windows 10',
    "sauce:options": {
    }
}

As always, we are here to help and support our users with their testing needs. Feel free to get in touch with us if you have any questions, concerns or comments.

Happy Testing,

Annie Thornton

Android Virtual USB: New client version available

We are happy to announce that a new client for SauceLabs' Android Virtual USB has been released (v. 1.6)

The new client brings several bug-fixes and performance improvements, including a fix to the usage of proxies with the virtual USB client.
Although this new version presents no known breaking changes, we do highly recommend to update the client used on your machine or your pipelines as soon as possible.

Please also notice that we are also discontinuing support for any Virtual USB client prior to version 1.4
